This course is suitable for supervisors and employers who need to ensure their teams are working safely around asbestos.

What does it cover?

  • What asbestos is and where it’s commonly found
  • The different types of asbestos and associated health risks
  • How to identify possible asbestos – containing materials
  • Legal duties under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012
  • How to avoid disturbing asbestos during works
  • Emergency procedures if asbestos exposure is suspected

This awareness course does not qualify individuals to work with or remove asbestos, but its a crucial step in staying safe and compliant.
