Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership

This CITB and CSCS approved Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership is designed for professionals leading teams or departments in construction or related industries. It’s a flexible, practical qualification that recognises high-level leadership, planning, and decision-making based on the work you’re already doing.

There’s no exam, no classroom time. You’ll be assessed through professional discussions and evidence from your day-to-day role in operations, finance, sustainability, and team development. It’s also a great step toward gaining a Black Managers CSCS card.

CITB funding options are available for construction-related businesses, and we’ll guide you through the whole process.

How is the Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership assessed?

There’s no written test or exam. You’ll work with a qualified assessor who will guide you through the NVQ using real-life examples from your job.

Common methods include:

• Professional discussion
• Observation on-site or via video/photos
• Work-based evidence (RAMS, job logs, site diaries)
• Witness statements from supervisors or colleagues
• Remote or face-to-face support based on your needs

How fast could I get on site?

Need to get on site quickly? If you sign up for an NVQ with us, we can apply for your temporary card on your behalf (if one is required), FREE of charge. You may have to sit a relevant CITB test*, which is also included in the NVQ package, for FREE. Depending on the right circumstances, you could have a digital CSCS card available within 24hrs of speaking to us**.
