The total cost to employers of mental ill health among their staff is estimated at nearly £26 billion each year. That is equivalent to £1,035 for every employee in the UK workforce.
This 2 day Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health (RQF) regulated course (in association with Paula Colman of Paco Training) covers a wide range of mental health conditions and goes into detail on the range of therapy and professional support that a person may be given by professional bodies during treatment for a mental health condition. The course is suitable for all persons within a workplace but is aimed at those who hold a supervisory/managerial level position and who have responsibility for implementing a positive mental health culture and responsibility for First Aid for Mental Health within an organisation.
The course is simply for everyone! Some of the contents could be quite sensitive and can be upsetting to some so we would only ask you to register if you are over 16 years old. We want to ensure that we create a safe and suitable learning environment for all our attendees.
