Our 12 hour First Aid at Work Level 3 Requalifying Course is specifically designed to allow first aiders to renew their first aid at work qualification when their certificate is due to expire. Please consider the following rule for attendance. A First Aider can renew their First Aid at Work qualification by attending our 2 day First Aid at Work Requalification Level 3 course, if it’s within 1 month past the expiry date. If the First Aider has lapsed beyond 1 month then they must attend a full First Aid at Work Level 3 course. The important thing to remember is that as soon as the certificate expires, the First Aider is no longer considered competent to act as a First Aider in the workplace which may well leave the employer with a shortfall of First Aiders.
This is a 12 hour course which we generally run over 2 days. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to practise essential first aid procedures, as well as learn the latest techniques for dealing with emergency situations and managing injuries and illnesses in the workplace. What’s more, as a regulated qualification, employers can book this course for their employees and rest assured that they have fulfilled their legal responsibilities for providing quality first aid training, without having to undertake any lengthy due diligence checks introduced in the recent HSE changes.
